2020-2021 in Totnes

We believe in the power of arts for communities in troubled and changing times...
NDP Circus co-hosted and co-produced a series of events in Totnes, Devon, UK over the course of the Covid-19 pandemic, with Totnes Town Council, South Hams District Council, local artists and creatives. These events took place outside in community spaces and were free to the local community.

A processional event that took place through Totnes and Bridgetown which involved lantern making, pumpkin carving, a procession of souls, pumpkin pizza, visual art installations, live music, spoken word and a Night Mayor!

A weekend of performance art, installations, music and theatre spread across parks and open spaces. Site specific performances and installations, walkabouts and wonders, reflecting our journey, our heritage and locality and our evolving and changing perceptions, celebrating our shared spaces and shared humanity. Our community emerged out into the open air and the joyful world of outdoor art and performance
May Day in Totnes
A processional Halloween that took place at St Mary's Church in Totnes in partnership with Totnes Town Council, Jamming Station and local artists. Socially distanced bubbles wound their way through the Whispering Shadows,
discovering a Fiery World of Magick and Mayhem, Ritual, Music and Dance. An outdoor arts spectacle and visual celebration of life, death, the Past and the Present.
